School has began.. and so has the stress.

Capture

School has started, which makes life a little more interesting and difficult at the same time.

Between classes and going back and forward at work, sometimes I find it hard to blog about my daily exercise. But as most people may say, if you want to get something done you’ll find a way or if you don’t want it done, you’ll find an excuse. I am hope to prove to myself that this year I can keep my resolutions. In order to do so, I have made a short list of things I need to keep in mind. (always)

1. Be honest with myself and others.

2. Only make promises you plan on keeping.

3. You are to blessed to be stressed.

4. We are human and we all make mistakes. Get up and keep moving.

Sometimes when you make a resolution and fail, you decide it is easier to just give up. Well, that is what I would have done last year, actually that is what I did last year. I failed and didn’t think it was worth starting over. But this year, this year has to be different. If not this year, then when?

I want to be the person that I look for in others. I want to be the person that when I go to bed at night, I am happy to be with.

I found that running releases a lot of thoughts and stress, so for this posted I wanted to share my jog with you.

I am fortunate to be at a University that recently created a jogging path. It is located in our Nature Preserve, which gives it beautiful scenery. There are stations with different exercises, like sit-ups and push ups.

Take the time to take a jog around your local park, or Google a jogging or bicycle path around your neighborhood. You will be happy you did.
